My Spring and Summer Fragrance Collection

I hate to sound really British and talk about the weather but seriously I wish it would make it's mind up. Sun or no sun? It is becoming very difficult to decide what to wear in the morning.

But in preparation for when the sun does decide to make an extended appearance I thought I would share my collection of Spring and Summer fragrances with you. If you're curious to see my Autumn and Winter fragrances you can read my previous post here - link. I'm not really sure when my collection got this big! I used to only ever have one bottle on the go at a time.

Ghost Sweetheart Eau de Toilette
Ghost is possibly my favourite fragrance brand and I currently own four of their fragrances. They are pretty affordable compared to other brands at around £25 for a 30ml bottle (eau de toilette). They are such beautiful and unique scents. Sweetheart is very unique in that it is somehow manages to be fruity, sweet, floral and also quite musky. I haven't smelt any other perfume like it and my mum and I both fell in love with this when we tried it. The mixture of pineapple and spearmint it unusual but it really works.

The Fragrance Shop say... "Ghost Sweetheart is a modern, oriental floral fragrance for today's young romantic woman. Fresh notes of sweet lemon, pineapple and spearmint combine with a dreamy haze of white flowers and a sensual woody base to create a scent which is feminine, sensual and enchanting."

Ghost Whisper Eau de Toilette
Ghost Whisper is a more mature and floral scent. It has almost a powdery quality to it but not in an old lady way. The lovely almond scent lingers on the skin and I find this to be a relaxing and easy-to-wear fragrance. This is my second or third bottle and one of my favourites to reach for on an average work day.

The Fragrance Shop say... "A sparkling accord of mandarin and star fruit, with a touch of creamy almond encompasses the opening of the Ghost Whisper fragrance, while a feminine bouquet of honeysuckle, jasmine sambac and orange flower lend a touch of voluptuousness. The woody dry down is enhanced with musks and heliotrope for a floaty, enticing trail."

Next Eau Nude Eau de Parfum
Next's Eau Nude perfume is supposedly a dupe for Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle and they definitely do smell very similar. The main difference is the price! Coco Mademoiselle is about £50 for 35ml and this cost me is only £12 for 100ml! If you are tempted to try Coco Mademoiselle, I'd recommend giving this one a try first. This one is very floral and the hints of vanilla are gorgeous, a great perfume for those that prefer a more mature scent.

Next say... "it is an enticing blend of lush red fruits, voluptuous florals, powdery musks and sumptuous vanilla."

Next Paradise Eau de Toilette
Next Paradise is a fruity and floral fragrance which again is crazy affordable (£8 for 30ml)! I don't find myself reaching for this one very often as I seem to favour my Ghost fragrances but it is a lovely Spring/Summer scent. It also came with a 10ml mini roller ball which has been a handy addition to my handbag.

Next say... "it is light fruity fragrance with white florals and green note."

DKNY Be Delicious Fresh Blossom
This is the latest addition to my fragrance collection and my first fragrance from DKNY. I am always drawn to the DKNY Be Delicious fragrances whenever I am having a browse in my local Debenhams as they seem to be happy easy-to-wear fragrances with cute little bottles. Somehow one of my best friends must have known as she bought it for me for my birthday. This is definitely an uplifting and energising fresh fragrance. The apple scent is strong but balanced nicely with the floral notes and this fragrance really does seem to last all day. This is probably the most 'summery' fragrance in my collection, I love it!

The Fragrance Shop say... "It opens with a blend of sparkling grapefruit, cassis and sun-kissed apricot. In the heart sheer muguet and petal rose are wrapped in luminous jasmine. The apple sensation finishes with body-lingering base notes of blonde woods and smooth skin accords."
