Christmas Gift Guide For Her - Under £10, £20 & Under, Over £20

I personally think that women/girls are a lot easier to buy for than men/boys but just in case you are struggling to find that perfect gift for your mum/sister/girlfriend/wife/friend here are a few ideas. They are basically all things that I would be very happy to receive and a few have even been suggested to my family/husband this year.

Under £10

1. Devilishly Different Drinking Fudge - £9.99 Firebox.com - How delicious does this sound?! Flavours include Moreish Mint, Tangy Orange, Creamy Caramel, Gorgeous Ginger, Classic Chocolate and Mocha Choca Madness. - link

2. The Snow Child by Eowyn Ivey - £6.29 Amazon - Nothing beats a good book! Although the type of book depends greatly on the literary tastes of your chosen gift recipient, a great all-rounder that I would personally recommend is The Snow Child by Eowyn Ivey (recently listed in my October Favourites). It is based on a Russian Fairytale and tells the story of a childless couple living in the Alaskan Wilderness who come across a mysterious child who lives in the snowy mountains. A perfect read for the winter season. - link

3. Lindt Lindor Cookies and Cream - £5 (most supermarkets) - If you are looking for a small and inexpensive gift which still shows your appreciation, then chocolate is always a winner. My favourite chocolates of all time are the Lindt Lindor Truffles and this year they have brought out a Limited Edition Cookies and Cream version. I cannot wait to try these! - link

4. Vintage Living Recipe Book – £6.49 WHSmith – A recipe journal is a perfect present for ladies that like to cook. With blank pages for your own recipes, dividers so that you can separate starters, mains and desserts, and plastic sleeves for magazine clippings, this folder is a great way to stay organised. And it’s just so damn cute! - link

£20 & Under

5. Stila Colour Me Pretty Lip and Cheek Palette - £19.50 Cult Beauty – As a big fan of the Stila Convertible Colours which can be used as both a cream blusher and a lip stain, this palette is very covetable. The blusher-and-lip tints give a gorgeous translucent wash of colour and the choice of 5 different shades makes this palette extremely versatile. - link

6. Salted Caramel Large Jar Yankee Candle - £19.99 Yankee Candle – I am a recent convert to the scented candle fan club and I cannot get enough of this scent. The sweet smell of burnt sugar, sea salt and smooth vanilla caramel is absolutely delicious and a large jar provides 110 to 150 hours of true fragrance enjoyment! Small jars can be purchased for £8.39 and medium jars for £16.99, meaning that there's a Yankee Candle for every budget. - link

7. Shea Body Butter – £13.00 The Body Shop – I used to purchase these repeatedly when they were a bit cheaper but as they are now £13.00 I don’t often buy them for myself but they make lovely gifts for those who can’t afford to/don’t often treat themselves and they have regular promotions throughout the year. They are available in a large range of scents but this is one of my personal favourite.

8. Soap and Glory Relaxstation - £20 Boots – All my friends love Soap and Glory and what’s not to love? Great products, cute packaging, delicious scents and an affordable price tag. This is just one of the many gift sets they bring out for Christmas and this one includes The Scrub of Your Life Body Buffer, Clean on Me Creamy Shower Gel, minis of the Hand Food Hand Cream, Heel Genius Foot Cream, The Righteous Body Butter, a shower puff and a hair turban. - link

9. Faux Fur Textured Boot Slipper - £20 Next - I love getting slippers, dressing gowns and pjs for Christmas. From October to March, if I am at home I can pretty much guarantee that I am snuggled up in slippers and a dressing gown. I am now in fact. Because I practically live in them they get worn out quite quickly so it’s nice to get new ones each year. How soft and warm do these slipper boots look? I don’t know whether to wear them or hug them. - link

10. Real Techniques Core Collection Makeup Brush Set - £15.74 Amazon – The main thing that has transformed/improved my makeup routine is the use of a decent set of makeup brushes. The Buffing Brush in this set is a blogger favourite and even worth getting the whole set for. As a bonus the Contour Brush is also great and the Detailer Brush is perfect for concealer or even as a lip brush. - link

11. Personalised Classic Novel - £16.99 Firebox – These are such a great idea! You get to choose a classic novel and then change the names of all the main characters so that that lucky gift recipient can be the leading lady and you can even sneak your own name in there somewhere. Novels to choose from include Alice in Wonderland, Pride and Prejudice, Romeo and Juliet, Little Women and more! - link

Over £20

12. Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette - £37 Debenhams – A Naked Palette is always a great gift option, unless they already own them all. Although they seem quite pricey they are actually great value for money when you consider that you get 12 neutral eyeshadows, a makeup brush and an extra gift (be it the primer potion with the first palette, a lipgloss with the second palette or a range of eyeshadow primers with the soon-to-be-launching Naked 3 Palette). All three palettes are simply stunning, I have only selected the 2nd for this gift list as this the one I am currently lusting after. - link

13. Narciso Rodriguez For Her Eau de Toilette - £34.50 for 30ml The Perfume Shop – This is one of the perfumes on my wish list this Christmas. Described as “An elegant, sensual, mysterious and delicate fragrance. Three notes enhance the heart of musk: floral, amber and woody notes” this is a perfect winter fragrance. - link

14. Urban Decay Black Market 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil Set - £26.00 LookFantastic I have heard great things about the Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliners and this set has a great range of colours from everyday naturals to gorgeous jewel shades perfect all those parties around Christmas and New Year. - link

15. MAC Stroke of Midnight: Viva Glamorous Bag - £29 MAC – This set includes a gorgeous black and red makeup bag with the original Viva Glam 1 Lipstick and matching Lipglass. Not only is this lipstick the perfect red which suits all skintones, all of the proceeds made from the sales of the MAC Viva Glam range are donated to HIV and AIDS charities (excluding the VAT). A fantastic gift and all for a great cause!! - link

If none of the above seems appropriate for the lady in your life then I hope this list has at least helped to provide some gift inspiration should you need it.
