MAC Eyeshadow Addiction & Sumptuous Olive

I just couldn't stop at 4. I tried, I really did (kind of) but I can feel the addiction taking over. My name is Nicki and I am a MAC eyeshadow addict. It has been so much fun picking one eyeshadow every month (pretty much on pay day!) to add to my quad palette but now this palette is full (see my full palette here) and I have my eye on a 15 pan palette instead. It will take a long time to fill and way too much money (seriously £10 an eyeshadow is just ridiculous, I know that) but I just can't help myself.

The Body Shop Haul

I haven't really shopped at The Body Shop since I was a kid. I occasionally used to get things as birthday and Christmas presents and loved their body butters but I haven't tried anything recently.

I have seen a couple of interesting products on a few other blogs lately and was looking to try some new affordable skin care, so popped on to their website a couple of weeks ago and they had an amazing offer of £30 off when you spend £60! Being able to try £60 worth of products for only £30 was an offer I just couldn't resist.

e.l.f Brush Haul & Autumn Collection Free Gift!

I know, I know, not another e.l.f haul?! What can I say....you just can't beat the prices! Also, as they aren't sold in stores in the UK it makes sense to order lots so you don't have to keep paying postage. Plus hauls are just so fun!

I wanted to order the Eyelid Primer in my last haul but it was sold out. When I checked a few days ago it was back in stock and an hour later an order was placed for a whole box full of goodies. The best thing about this order is that e.l.f had a special offer, spend £20 and get a free mystery Autumn Collection gift! Even better!

My MAC Eyeshadow Quad - Complete!

If you are a regular reader of my blog you will know that for the past few months I have been slowly building a MAC eyeshadow quad palette. As MAC eyeshadows are pretty expensive (£10 per eyeshadow if you buy them in the pan) I had to spread it out and decided to buy one eyeshadow per month. The proper MAC Pro Palette (empty) is, in itself, £6.50 so I actually bought a much cheaper version for £1.50 from e.l.f.

As you can see, it is month 4 and I have finally filled my palette! I have to say, I am really happy with it! A lot of research was involved in this quad quest and I have looked at a shocking amount of swatches online and watched a crazy amount of YouTube videos to make sure my money wouldn't go to waste.

September '13 Favourites

September is a great month, a month of new beginnings and the start of Autumn. The leaves change colour, I get to wear my winter scarf again and out of childhood habit I automatically check the ground for fallen conkers. Here are the products I have been loving in September....
