e.l.f Shimmer Palette

Okay, I promise to stop with the e.l.f products soon! I know there have been a few, I mean seriously, how long can a blogger drag out one haul?! Unfortunately I have been very broke and busy this month so haven't been able to do much makeup testing or shopping. I wanted to do a post on this product though because it is really pretty and a great bargain buy!

This is the e.l.f Shimmer Palette which is made up of 4 different shades of cream formula highlighters. The colours are white, peach, a very light brown colour and a pink. Once swatched the colour difference between them is very subtle. The creamy formula is really soft and pigmented so little goes a long way!

In the same order as the palette, pink at the top and white at the bottom (heavily swatched to show on camera).
My two favourite shades are the pink for a cheekbone highlight and the peachy colour to brighten up the inner corner of the eye. They are very shimmery so I only use a little bit. I don't often wear highlighter but these add a lovely healthy (almost pearlescent) glow to the skin when I am looking at bit tired or when my skin looks exceptionally dry, and they would be great for an evening look. Each shade has a silver/white shimmer base so they make a gorgeous highlighter for pale skin in particular.

They can be used as a highlighter along the cheekbone, cupids bow, brow bone, inner corner of the eyes or even as an eyeshadow, so it is a great multi-tasking product and all for £3.75!

You can purchase e.l.f products on their website here. I have been so impressed with their products so far!

  2. I don't know why I haven't bought anything from e.l.f yet! (Probably the lack of money) But I really like this. I struggle finding a nice highlighter and I don't always find that the one that makes my cheek bones glow looks great on my brow bone!
