The Never-Ending Wish List...

It is no secret that retail work pays diddly-squat! 9 days in to the month and I have already spent my entire monthly beauty budget, which really wasn't that much to begin with. Rubbish. So instead I have a habit of making wish lists of products I can buy in future, a future that sometimes feels very far away!

Here's what is currently on my wish list...

  • Bobbi Brown Corrector
  • Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser
  • Pixi Glow Tonic (probably not going to happen..)
  • Mac Paint Pot in Frozen Violet
  • Diorskin BB Cream (although I doubt they will have a shade to match me!)
  • Real Techniques Blusher Brush
  • Real Techniques Limited Edition Duo-Fiber Brush Set (has anyone tried these? I haven't heard anything about them but saw them on the Real Techniques website)
  • Mac 217 Brush (obviously!)
  • Nars Blusher in Orgasm (or possibly Deep Throat, seriously Nars what's with the names?)
  • Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer Light (currently on a mission to find the perfect primer)
It will take many many months to finally get everything on this list and it is constantly changing, what I would like to buy now is not necessarily what I will want to buy next pay day. A lot of the items on this list have been there for a pretty long time though, mainly the Real Techniques Blusher Brush and the Mac 217 Brush. A couple of them are items that I have read a lot about this month and seem to be the latest must have product, I guess that's why there is apparently a waiting list to get your hands on the Pixi Glow Tonic! So chances are I won't be getting that one any time soon!

Are any of these items on your wish list? Do you have any of the items above and if so are they worth it? Let me know by commenting below...

  1. I am desperate to get my hands on some smashbox primer and completely feel your pain with regards to pay in retail! I've tried so many different combinations to make my makeup stay on and not glow ghostly pale in photos. Have you come across any potentials in your primer mission?! x

    1. Nope not yet, have tried maybe 3 or 4 so far from Maybelline, Benefit, No.7 etc. but haven't been amazed by any in particular, might do a blog post on them soon actually. I am currently experimenting with the Urban Decay Setting Spray to see if that works better than a primer. I'll keep you updated if I find any gems!
